President Trump has not taken office for a month and he is already good with some of the promises he has made to the American people.
And while many Americans don't support Trump's tariffs, they already seem to be doing what he's trying to do to them.

Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas is not one of the opposition to tariffs and could not agree more with Trump's decision.

“The left loves to talk about the costs of tariffs, and the prices of avocados go up. The prices of flowers go up.
“The reality is that for the past four years, Joe Biden has allowed the Mexican government to help promote more than 10 million people in our country,” he continues. “In our country, we have around 425,000 illegal aliens committed crimes, including around 14,000 murderers and around 16,000 people who committed crimes of sexual assault, and we have a border. I'm pouring over 21,000 pounds of fentanyl over it.”
“I believe it's enough fentanyl to kill, almost 5 million people. So this is a serious national crisis,” he adds.
And Gill doesn't just agree with President Trump.
Lawmakers are trying to help revive the “remaining Mexico” bill that will be voted in the House and codify President Donald Trump's executive order into law.
“I think it should be a top priority for Congress to ensure that the law succeeds in making President Trump's mandatory orders permanent,” Gill tells Gonzalez. “We've seen executive orders from border security to energy policy to everything in between, removing DEIs. Everything President Trump has run, he's actually doing it.”
“It's refreshing to see the president make a promise and fulfill it as soon as possible,” he adds.
