Remembering Charlie Kirk on His Birthday
Today marks what would have been Charlie Kirk’s 32nd birthday. He was a passionate advocate for free speech, a committed Christian, and the founder of Turning Point USA.
Kirk was tragically killed on September 10 during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University. His death sent shockwaves around the globe, leaving many to grieve the loss of someone seen as a dedicated American patriot.
According to reports, President Donald Trump is set to return from Israel on Tuesday to posthumously present Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This prestigious award will be given in a ceremony at the White House.
In a memorial service held in September, President Trump expressed that despite the sorrow of losing Kirk, he believed Turning Point USA would emerge “bigger, better, and stronger than ever.”
The president remarked, “Charlie is bigger today than he was before. Think about it. That was just two weeks ago. He’s bigger today than he was two weeks ago.” He acknowledged the pain of Kirk’s family but emphasized that his legacy remains impactful.
Trump concluded, saying, “We love him, and he’s looking down at us right now and saying, ‘Wow, what a great crowd.’ And that’s a legion of patriots. That’s why I will soon award Charlie the Presidential Medal of Freedom, this country’s highest civilian honor.”
Turning Point USA shared a heartfelt message on social media, celebrating Kirk’s bold life and everlasting legacy, wishing him a happy birthday and noting his eagerness to share his faith with others.
Many individuals took to social media to pay tribute to the Turning Point USA founder, sharing their memories and sentiments about his impact.
Additionally, it was reported that on September 18, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved a resolution led by Senator Rick Scott (R-Fla.) to honor Kirk’s legacy of faith, free speech, and civic involvement, designating October 14, 2025, as Charlie Kirk Memorial Day.
