Iowa Attorney General Brenna Byrd said efforts to remove former President Donald Trump from voting, particularly in Colorado, are “absolutely election interference.” Breitbart News Saturday.
“What Colorado is trying to do, what the Supreme Court has done, is absolutely election interference,” Byrd said. “And it's wrong that Americans can't vote for the presidential candidate of their choice, and he's the leading candidate on the Republican side.”
Bird also said the efforts show “how much the radical left fears President Trump.”
“They don't want to face him in November, so they're doing everything they can to keep him off the ballot and just busy with the legal battle to keep him on the ballot,” she explained.

“As Attorney General, I enforce the law and the Constitution, and it's absolutely important in a democracy that the rules are followed and that people who are entitled to vote are able to vote so that voters can vote. It's fundamental, it's essential to the way our system has to work,” Byrd continued, noting that in a landmark brief filed with the U.S. Supreme Court, all Republican attorneys general supported Trump. He pointed out that he signed it.
Bird also said the legal arguments used by the other side are “just dumb.”
“The 14th Amendment has been around for over 150 years and no one has ever made something like this up. So the U.S. Supreme Court acted quickly and ruled based on actual law and the Constitution.” “I hope that we can end this once and for all,” she said, adding that if President Joe Biden wants to do the right thing, he will. “I urge you to vote for President Trump so that he can face him fair and square,” she said.
“But he doesn't want that,” she added.
