Rep. Andy Biggs announces death of his daughter, 37, from cancer: ‘We are devastated’

The daughter of Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, died earlier this week after a brave battle with cancer, he announced on social media on Friday. The 37-year-old was a mother of three.

“At the beginning of this week, my daughter Cosette lost her battle with cancer. We are devastated with her death, but feel at ease knowing that she is in peace with the Lord.” The 66-year-old Republican wrote about x.

“I’m grateful that the family was able to get together and spend their last day by her,” he added.

“We appreciate your thoughts, prayers and support. We are humbled by the pouring of love into this wonderful community and Cosette and our family,” the Biggs statement concluded.

Cossette Biggs-Finerd, 37, had three young children. According to the Arizona Capitol Times.
