Rep. Chip Roy Seeks to Safeguard the U.S. from Illegal Immigrants Following Sharia Law

New Bill Aims to Block Sharia Law in the U.S.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) introduced a new bill on Wednesday designed to safeguard Americans from the influence of Islamic Sharia law.

The proposed legislation, titled the “Maintaining Sharia-Free America Act,” would prevent foreign nationals who follow Sharia law from entering or staying in the United States. According to Roy’s office, this is intended to bolster national security and uphold American values.

In a statement, Roy emphasized that Sharia law represents a threat to Western ideals.

He remarked, “America is facing an existential crisis with the spread of Sharia law. From Texas to every state, those who adhere to Sharia are challenging the American way of life, aiming to replace our legal system and Constitution with ideologies that can undermine the rights of women, children, and followers of various faiths.”

Roy added that Europe should serve as a warning to America about what happens when Sharia law spreads—leading to a gradual decline of Western principles.

He insists that strengthening the U.S. immigration system is crucial to prevent the entry of those who support Sharia law, arguing that the survival of the constitutional republic and its citizens depends on it.

The press release mentioned that the bill has several original co-sponsors, including Congressmen Randy Fine (FL-06), Tim Burchett (TN-02), and Keith Self (TX-03).

According to the bill:

An individual in the U.S. found to be compliant with Sharia law will have their immigration benefits revoked, be deemed inadmissible or deportable, and subsequently removed from the country.

In related news, Tareq al-Suwaydan, a Kuwaiti Islamist linked to terrorist groups, recently suggested that Muslims in the West should exert pressure on their governments to change policies or vote out unsatisfactory politicians.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) voiced concerns on the Senate floor about the dangers posed by Islamic extremism. He warned that America could resemble Europe within a decade if current trends persist, stating, “Massive immigration has destroyed society. There is rampant crime and public disorder. If we don’t act now, we risk losing this country as we know it.”

In 2018, a group of Middle Eastern women shared their troubling experiences with Sharia law in Washington, D.C. Rabia Khazan, founder of the Middle East Women’s Union, lamented, “The world ignores our suffering. They abuse our girls and murder our women in the name of Sharia. Silence is deadly, so we are raising our voices to support President Trump.”
