Rep. Crockett Uses JFK Assassination Hearing to Denounce Signal-Gate

During a hearing of the House Oversight Committee's Task Force on Federal Secret Confidentialization, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) noted that files related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy “provides no evidence of the CIA conspiracy,” saying the focus should be on the signal gate.

Crockett It was criticized Republicans who tried to reassess whether Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agents “lied 60 years ago,” noted that several Trump administration officials, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegses and Vice President J.D. Vance, were “to have a hearing on the facts” that they were discussing military strikes in Signal Group chats. Crockett said:

I had to make sure I was here on November 22, 1963, when the 30th Congressional District of Texas, the district I represent, became one of the most tragic events in American political history. After being attacked by an assassin bullet, President Lee Harvey Oswald was rushed to Parkland Hospital, where hardworking doctors at UT Southwestern Medical Center worked tirelessly to revive him.

“In the 48 hours of President Kennedy being shot at the moment Oswald died, Texas 30th Congressional District became a temporary seat in the US government, a temporary seat in the Texas government, a place for President 35, and a center of global attention,” continued Crockett. “We value government accountability and transparency, but like most of our colleagues, almost all of our previously classified JFK assassination files are published and show no evidence of the CIA conspiracy.”

Crockett accused Republican lawmakers of going to the hearing that “CIA agents re-sue asking if they lied 60 years ago,” and accused him of “not doing anything about the CIA director just six days ago.”

“We should hear about the fact that the unqualified Secretary of Defense and other Trump officials were inadvertently debating classified military plans over unsecured signalling group chats,” Crockett continued. “And instead of overseeing the administration's handling of classification information, Republicans spent a week trying to convince Americans that military plans weren't classified. So instead of giving a platform to convince theories of conspiracy, there's a hole to clarify.

Crockett's words come after Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of Atlantic OceanIt has been published article There he revealed that national security adviser Michael Waltz accidentally added him to a signalling chat called “Houthi PC Small Group.” The group chat included people such as Vance, Hegseth, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Envoys of Middle East Steve Witkoff, and especially Chief of Staff of the White House Susie Wiles.

In the article, Goldberg shares how several members of the Trump administration had a long and long discussion just days before the military strike in Yemen's Houtis.

On Saturday, March 15th, Goldberg will share how Hegses shares messages with members in the chat. “It included operational details of the upcoming strikes in Yemen, including information on targets, US deployed weapons, attack sequences and more.” Goldbert writes:

The only person to reply to an update from Hegseth was the person identified as the Vice President. “I'll say a prayer for victory,” Vance wrote. (The other two users then added prayer emojis.)

According to the long Hegseth text, Yemen's first explosion feels like two hours, so at 1:45pm Eastern time. So I was waiting in the car park at the supermarket. If this signal chat was real, I inferred, the target of Houthi would be bombed soon. Around 1:55, I checked X and searched for Yemen. Afterwards, an explosion was heard in Sanaa, the capital.

In another one article issue Atlantic Ocean,The content of Hegseth's message has been shared.

At 11:44am east time, Hegses posted a “team update” on the chat with all caps.

The text below this is “Time Now (1144 ET): The weather has improved. Centcom, or Central Command, is a fighting order for the Middle Eastern army. The Hegseth text continues:

• “1215et: Release of F-18S (1st Strike Package)”

• “1345: 'Trigger Base' F-18 1st Strike Window begins (target terrorist @ his known location so it must be on time – also launching Strike Drone (MQ-9S)”

Following the outlet, Hegses' message to the group chat continued.

• “1410: Other F-18 releases (second strike package)”

• “1415: Strike drone on the target (this is when the first bomb is definitely falling and the previous “trigger-based” target is pending)”

• “The 1536 F-18 second strike begins, and the first sea-based Tomahawks have also launched.”

• “Details (by timeline)”

• “We're currently clean with OPSEC” – that is, operational security.

• “God Speed to Our Warriors.”

Kristina Wong of Breitbart News previously reported that Gabbard and CIA director John Ratcliffe “both said in testimony sworn in the Senate.”

President Donald Trump previously revealed that Waltz's National Security Council staff and aides were the ones who added Goldberg to the group chat.
