An unsettling diary of disinformation and dangerous delusions
This claim:
“Charlie Kirk Assassin has been identified as a Magazine.”
– Councillor Dave Min (D-Calif.)
We say: There’s really nothing to support this. I mean, it seems Min suggested that Tyler Robinson attacked him as a “Magazine.” But honestly, all the evidence out there indicates his views align pretty consistently with a more leftist perspective.
Still, that hasn’t stopped Min from, like many notable figures on the left, misrepresenting Robinson’s background.
To make matters worse, Min hadn’t retracted his misleading tweets even by Thursday.
This price:
“The right winger, who didn’t want to talk to Charlie Kirk, did what the right winger did and shot him.”
– Post Teachers Union boss Randy Weingarten retweeted on Saturday
We say: Weingarten quickly propagated that leftist narrative around the right. It’s not just that she labeled Robinson as a “right winger” but claimed he was involved in trying to confront Kirk, unlike the left.
That sort of commentary goes beyond troubling. Although Weingarten deleted her retweet, parents whose kids are taught by her associates can really see how she thinks.
This statement:
“We saw death on Friday [ICE] enter the community.”
– Illinois Governor JB Pritzker Monday
We say: Yes, the ICE agent was tragically shot outside Chicago. He was entangled in a situation involving illegal immigrants, who shot back out of fear.
The officer sustained serious injuries, but Pritzker dismissed all their actions.
It’s worth noting that this is the same governor who now stands alongside the so-called “peacekeeping forces.”
This comparison:
“[Israelis] ‘We’ll withhold food…’ It also dehumanizes the people of Gaza.”
– Former President Barack Obama, Tuesday
We say: Sorry, Barack, but Israelis aren’t withholding food from Gaza. In fact, the IDF is focused on protecting the civilians there.
What’s being suggested here equates Israel’s approach with the horrific actions of Hamas during the attack on October 7th.
