Controversy Surrounds Rep. Ilhan Omar at State of the Union

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) sparked a significant reaction during Tuesday evening’s State of the Union address. She shouted at President Donald Trump throughout the speech and refused to stand in support of the American people. The fallout continued into Wednesday when a video emerged of Omar denying her statements on camera.

LindellTV earlier shared a clip on X featuring an interview with Omar, where questions about her financial records and ties to a winery were raised—issues that remain under scrutiny.

In this interaction, Omar responded sharply to the reporter’s questions, asking, “Are you asking all these stupid questions?”

The reporter pressed on, referring to Omar’s recent comments suggesting Americans should be wary of white individuals. Omar denied having made such a statement.

“I never said that,” she asserted, even after being confronted with video evidence of her words. She insisted she needed better preparation, as she claimed her comments were based on an actual FBI investigation.

An interview from 2018 resurfaced where Omar discussed Islamophobia and its roots. When asked about fear driving perceptions of jihadist terrorism, she stated, “I think our country should be more afraid of white men in our country, because white men are actually responsible for most of the deaths in our country.” She further argued that if fear influenced safety policies, there should be measures targeting the radicalization of white men.

Interestingly, she did not reference any specific FBI reports or studies in that context.
