Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York became the target of online ridicule and derision after falsely accusing former President Donald Trump of fabricating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris' radical policies.
During the debate, Trump blasted Harris for her support of taxpayer-funded sex-reassignment surgery for illegal immigrants in prison, and Bowman accused her of lying about the bizarre policy position.
“He just puts words together to scare people, barely forming sentences.”
“She wants to give illegal immigrants in prison sex reassignment surgery,” he wrote, summarizing Trump's accusations during the debate.
“Are you guys serious now? He says anything, just words to scare people, barely composed sentences,” Bowman added.
The community post corrected Bowman's false accusations against Trump, with many accusing him of being ignorant of positions Harris said she supported in 2019, positions that had been uncovered by CNN's KFILE investigative team.

Bowman, who is considered a member of the far-left “Squad” group of lawmakers, must step down at the end of this Congress after losing his reelection primary in June to a liberal candidate backed by former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
