Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett Criticized as a “Diva”
Jasmine Crockett, a notable critic of former President Trump, has been the subject of a challenging report labeling her as a “diva” who intimidates her staff. This week, several aides who have worked alongside Crockett shared their experiences with the New York Post.
According to a former aide, the 44-year-old congresswoman is seldom present in her Washington, D.C. office, only showing up for media events. “She lounges around her apartment and seems indifferent to her staff, often screaming at them,” the aide said, pointing out that Crockett is rarely in the office and often surprises staff by her sudden appearances.
Interestingly, Crockett has been vocal about her disdain for Trump, describing him in harsh terms and often going viral on social media for her comments.
It seems she prefers operating from a luxury office space and notoriously requires her staff to travel in style. Reports indicate that her demand for rental cars is quite specific, insisting they be high-end models, like an Escalade, and expects staff to open the doors for her. A source mentioned, “It’s like they are in their own little world, and she disregards local issues in her district, focusing instead on her own public persona.”
In a separate incident, Crockett was reportedly upset when a fellow congressman was removed from a press conference, stating she was deeply affected and “broke down in tears.”
The report also highlights a troubling environment for her staff, particularly among her Black female employees who described feeling disempowered. It was suggested that Crockett’s leadership style contributed to a toxic workplace culture, marked by her blunt comments and disregard for staff wellbeing.
Crockett came under fire earlier this year for an incident where she boarded a flight and allegedly bypassed people in wheelchairs, which raised questions about her interpersonal skills and overall demeanor.
Despite various criticisms, Fox News Digital has reached out to Crockett’s office for her perspective on these claims.
