REP. NICOLE MALLIOTAKIS: Why We Are Starting GOP Women’s Caucus

When we celebrate Women's History Month, we celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions of American women throughout our country's history.

Whether it was the suffrage who fought for the right to vote, the libeters who intervened while men were fighting during World War II, or the “black angels” who helped men find treatment for tuberculosis, help American women shape the progress and success of our country. 37 female Republican members of the U.S. House and Senate on Wednesday Participation White House President Donald Trump has launched the GOP Women's Caucus. Republicans have a long history of defending women's rights and protection. It was led by Republican Susan B. Anthony. Voting rights Movement. Most recently, Trump approved the Smithsonian American Women's History Museum in 2020, and in his first few days of his second term, he signed an executive order to protect women in sports.

Among our Caucus priorities are laws relocating land, and Trump preserves both the narrative and untold stories of pioneering women who helped shape our nation and pave the way for future generations, where the accused museum was built in the National Mall. At the White House Women History Month Celebration event, Trump supported the law as “100%.”

The Republican Women's Caucus is a historic effort to strengthen the work of GOP female members of the House and Senate. The perception that Trump's perception in the 2024 presidential election is that women are not single-issue voters proves that American issues are women's issues. Whether it's national security, economic empowerment, workforce development, healthcare, or more, Caucus members are ready to raise the key priorities our members care about.

Today's Republican Party is the party of opportunity, security and freedom. Our party stands with our parents, empowering them to shape the education of our children, and we have more Republican women than ever before, continue to grow, and proudly represent all Americans.

The women who came before us left lasting influence and proved that progress had refusal to embrace courage, resilience and status quo. When we respect their legacy this month, we reaffirm our commitment to breaking barriers, challenging restrictions and strengthening future generations to continue shaping history.
