Rep. Raul Grijalva Dies Due to ‘Complications’ from ‘Cancer Treatments’

According to a statement issued by his office, Rep. Raul Grajarva (D-AZ) died Thursday morning from a “complication” of “cancer treatment.”

Grillarva sought new parks, childcare centers, healthcare clinics, local businesses and affordable housing that breathed new life into a southern Arizona neighborhood. Improvements to our roads, bridges and tram systems have improved our daily lives and attracted new businesses and industries to the area.

Grijalva was said to have a “kind and humble nature” known to many, and was said to be “a friendly and friendly because he believed that people should be treated as equals.”

“He loves to give gifts and blair music in his office, and he's now getting to know people about who they are,” the statement continued. “The lawmakers were deeply cared for and proud of his staff, a dedicated civil servant who had fought with him for the people of southern Arizona for 22 years. In 2024, Glijalva announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer, explaining in a statement that he “first called for treatment for a persistent cough diagnosed with pneumonia.”
