Report: Mauricio Pochettino To Lead U.S. Men’s Soccer Team

Reports have emerged that Mauricio Pochettino will be the next head coach of the United States Men’s Soccer National Team.

Pochettino, who was born in Santa Fe, Argentina, has “agreed a contract with the team” and is expected to be announced as the new manager shortly.

He served as manager of Chelsea FC, based in Fulham, West London, England, from May 2023 to May 2024.

During his playing career, Pochettino played 216 games as a centre-back for RCD Espanyol de Barcelona, ​​scoring 11 goals.

Pochettino will succeed Gregg Berhalter, who managed the team from 2018 to 2022 and again from 2023 to 2024, following a contract extension.
