Report ranks cities with the worst drivers. Is yours on it?

Tampa, Florida (W.F.L.A.) — As the number of traffic fatalities continues to rise nationwide, a new study ranks the cities with the worst drivers, and a New Mexico city tops the list.

“Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the most dangerous city in America to drive, with a high rate of fatal car crashes, drunk driving, and distracted driving,” the newspaper said. forbes advisor report.

Forbes Advisor analysts said they compared the nation’s 50 most populous cities on five key metrics, including the number of fatal car crashes caused by drunk and distracted driving.

“Our analysis identifies the cities where drivers engage in the most dangerous behaviors that threaten public safety,” the report said.

Memphis, Tennessee, and Detroit, Michigan each finished in the top three, and two Arizona cities, Tucson and Phoenix, rounded out the top 10.

According to the report, Albuquerque has the most deaths caused by distracted driving, and Memphis leads the way in deaths caused by drunk driving.

The report also notes how driving behavior affects insurance rates, with the more risky the reported behavior, the more drivers are expected to pay.
