Reporter Asks Irish PM Thoughts On Rosie O’Donnell Moving To Ireland, Trump: You’re ‘Better Off’ Not Knowing Her

President Donald Trump responded to the news that Rosie O'Donnell had moved to Ireland following the presidential election victory.

On Wednesday, Ireland's Prime Minister Micheal Martin joined when Trump was asked about O'Donnell's announcement.

The reporter joked with Martin, who was in Washington, DC for the St. Patrick's Day celebration, saying, “Ireland is known for its extremely happy, fun and loving people. Why are you moving Rosie O'Donnell to Ireland in the world? I think she's going to lower your happiness level.”

Trump continued to ask Martin if he knew who O'Donnell was.

“Did you know that Rosie O'Donnell is there? Do you know who she is?” Trump asked Martin shook his head.

“You better not know,” Trump said with a laugh.

The interaction comes after the comedian announces that he has moved to Ireland.

“It was so great, I have to say. People are so loving, so kind and very welcoming. O'Donnell, 62, said in a video of Tiktok.

She then hinted at the policies implemented by Trump, saying: As we all know, individuals are political. ”

O'Donnell concluded the video with “sounding advice” for fans.

“Protecting your sanity is all I can say. Protect your sanity as much as you can and try not to swim in confusion if possible. But when you're in the middle of it, I know that it's almost impossible,” she told her followers.

“And I think about the United States with everyone every day. And we hope to be able to rely on you, you, all of you, and turn things around to do the right thing. And I think I'm deep inside, we all know what it is.”

The feud between Trump and O'Donnell goes back many years.

It all began in 2006 when Trump, then-owner of the Miss America pageant, decided not to take the crown of Miss America, after being accused of excessive drinking and drug use. Instead, Trump gave Connor a second chance, supporting her rehabilitation journey.

“I've always believed in a second chance,” Trump said at a 2006 press conference that his brother's death led to alcoholism.

He helped the 21-year-old get her life back on track.

Connor has been calm for 18 years since then. She is currently a public advocacy consultant for Caron Treatment Centers and is an advocate for those affected by addiction.

In 2015, when asked about her past mischievous remarks she made to women during a major Republican debate, Trump replied, “Only Rosie O'Donnell.”
