Representative Jasmine Crockett accused of misusing her authority at Atlanta airport

Representative Jasmine Crockett from Texas was seen boarding a Delta flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport, reportedly cutting in line in front of two passengers in wheelchairs. House Republican Congress chair Lisa McClain shared the incident on social media, stating that even police escorts made people with disabilities wait. According to sources familiar with the situation, Crockett was the first non-crew member to board the flight to Washington, D.C., on Sunday afternoon.

The U.S. Department of Transportation states that if someone identifies as disabled and needs extra assistance, the airline must allow other passengers to board ahead. Delta’s policies invite those needing assistance, as well as active military members, to board first.

Witnesses reported that Crockett arrived at the gate with police officers, scanned her boarding pass, and proceeded to board before others. When Fox News Digital reached out, Crockett’s Chief of Staff declined to comment.

Recent reports indicate that Crockett, who is currently a deputy ranking member on the House Committee on Surveillance and Government Reform, is eyeing the chair position. If successful, she would oversee federal investigations, including those concerning former President Donald Trump.

Crockett has openly criticized Trump, implying he fears a strong, accountable voice. During an interview, Trump referred to her as a “low IQ guy,” deriding her future in the Democratic Party.

In a recent speech at Tougaloo College in Mississippi, Crockett referenced a notorious brawl in Montgomery, Alabama, urging students to know how to “use a chair” when faced with challenges. Her comments were met with criticism, particularly from conservative figures, with Senator Mike Lee of Utah labeling them as “not cool.”

Crockett seemed to draw a parallel with a viral incident from August 2023 in which a Black riverboat captain faced an attack. The folding chair became a potent symbol of resistance in that case.
