Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Thursday on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” that Republicans must win the November election because Vice President Kamala Harris was in “batting circles with Joe Biden.” He said there was no.
Barr said, “Well, the choice right now is between these two candidates, and between the two, I’m going to support President Trump. And one of the reasons for that is… I hope President Trump will address many of our country’s critical issues, including deregulation, crime, restoring law and order, restoring border control, rebuilding our defense in this increasingly dangerous world, and supporting our allies. And I’m also very concerned about having Vice President Kamala Harris in Joe Biden’s batting circle. In these circumstances, I feel like Republicans have to win in November.”
Barr said of the New York criminal case, “I think this case is a stain on the criminal justice process. This is clearly a man-hunting case, and it’s not a crime. There’s no crime here. There’s no crime here.’ It’s not a crime to try to protect your reputation. It’s not a crime to sign a non-disclosure agreement, even if you’re running for office. And there’s no crime here. They’re trying to make it up, and they’re trying to undermine and interfere with the election. That’s what this is.”
