The Republican Party is growing.

In 2016, 42% of American independent voters said they lean Republican; by 2024, that number will be 47%.

For Democrats in 2016, that number was 46%, and in 2024 that number is now 40%.

Breitbart reported:

The Republican Party enjoys an 11-point swing over Democrats as the number of Americans expressing support for the Republican Party increases.

The Gallup poll, conducted April 1-22, found that Republicans gained a net average of 11 points among voters who indicated support for Democrats compared to 2016 results.

According to the poll, 47% of independent voters in the United States say they lean toward the Republican Party, up from 42% in 2016. Meanwhile, 40% of voters say they lean toward the Democratic Party, down from 46% in 2016. According to the results of a public opinion poll.

However, once independents were added as an option, the Republican lead declined. While 45% of Americans said they were independent, 27% said they lean Republican and 25% said they lean Democratic.
