The National Republican Congressional Committee has announced which House Democrats are Targeting The next election cycle to expand the majority of GOPs.
The NRCC has set its sights on 26 “Prime Pickup Opportunities” in light of the GOP's drastic victory in November 2024. After maintaining the White House, Senate and home, Republicans want to expand their strength to Capitol Hill.

House Democrats are hit hard by swing states and even deep blue states. The NRCC is targeting five Democrats from California, including Josh Harder, Adam Gray, George Whiteside, Derek Tran and Dave Minh. Marie Grusenkamp Perez, a neighboring blue state in Washington, is also on the NRCC list.
The NRCC is also targeting New York officials. Tom Suzzy, Laura Gillen, Josh Reilly. Democrat Jared Golden of Maine, the only Democrat in the House to vote in favor of the GOP-led fundraising bill on Tuesday, was nominated as a target.
The NRCC is also keeping an eye on the list of Kristen MacDonaldribbett of Michigan, Mercy Captor of Ohio, Emilia Sykes of Ohio and Frank Marvan of Indiana, and the Midwest.
Nevada swing state Democrats are on the NRCC radar, including lawmakers Dina Titus, Susie Lee and Stephen Horseford. North Carolina swing state fellow Democrat Don Davis is also one of the NRCC's target sheets.
After making significant benefits for Hispanics, the NRCC is targeting Democrats with key Latino groups, such as Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas, Vicente Gonzalez of Texas, Rep. Nelly Pooh of New Jersey, and Gabe Vasquez of New Mexico.
The South is usually a safe bet for Republicans, but the NRCC is looking for some pick-up opportunities under the Mason Dixon line, including Democrats from Virginia, Darren Soto of Florida and Jared Moskovitz of Florida.
“Hospital Republicans are in the attack with a majority,” said NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson.. “On the other hand, vulnerable House Democrats have struggled to demonstrate that they are not in painful contact with hardworking Americans. Republicans are fighting straight with these House Democrats in their district and we will release them next fall.”
