A group of women were caught on video taking pictures on a second-floor balcony after part of a building collapsed in a Thai resort on Sunday.
At Chiang Mai’s Longmai Rungam resort, 12 tourists, all women who volunteered at the local health office, posed for photos on a balcony overlooking the gardens, according to Viral Press.
The concrete balcony the group was standing on buckled under its weight, and the women crashed to the ground.
“No one knew that the balcony was not strong enough,” hotel staff told the magazine. “There are a lot of people taking selfies because there is a nice view of the garden.”
