As a young adult, Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Humane did her summer job at Jones Beach. This was a summer job at another Sandy Stretch in the same area where it was accused of abandoning the bodies of half a dozen victims decades later.

Prosecutors revealed at this week's hearing that Human's alleged motives were “identifying and 'hunting' women with the intent to commit murder, and that the job of patroling Jones Beach's Sandy Stretch at night has made him intimate to the area.

According to court documents, Source's 61-year-old Heuermann said he picked up the nickname “Sexy Lexi” at the Suffolk County Jail.

The suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer is said to have more casualties than police originally imagined.

Heuermann is from the South Shore, where he purchased Massapequa Park House, which he grew up from his mother in the early 1990s. The neighborhood is located near both beaches.

Jones Beach is less than 7 miles from the Gilgodown Ocean Parkway. Six of the seven victim sites have been recovered all or part of the east of Gilgo Beach, and prosecutors call the area “central disposal site.”

The filing came when prosecutors expressed their opposition to human defense attorney Mike Brown's request to split the numerous charges against his client into multiple trials.

Heuermann is accused of seven murders dating back to 1993, and is committed under horrifying circumstances, accompanied by allegations of torture, mutilation and dismantling. Prosecutors argued that the crimes shared the same modus operandi and that many witnesses overlap.

All victims were said to be “petty” women, many of whom were about five feet tall and just over 100 pounds. The last witnesses of one of them alive described the human. That identity was the “Augre” driving a Chevrolet avalanche.

Heuermann's work patrols the beach compares to convicted serial killer Dennis Radar, whose nickname BTK represents binding, torture and murder.

Radar has worked for home security company ADT for many years and installed a system for those who may have been seeking home alerts after the 1974 Otero family home invasion murder.

“It shows and feeds his need for control at an earlier age, in a position of authority like BTK,” he said.

Heuermann later became an architect and was accused of misusing his powers in dealing with urban compliance issues. New York Times It was reported a few days after his arrest. After he was arrested outside his Manhattan office in July 2023, police said DNA had been collected from a discarded pizza box, which helped them identify him as a suspect.
