Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is offering to spend an “afternoon at sea” with the winner of a contest organized by his campaign.
Prizes include “an unforgettable trip for you and your guests” to spend an afternoon sailing in the Pacific Ocean and take a photo with RFK Jr. Also, the winner and his guest will receive a free flight ticket and his two-night stay at the airport. Hotel.
The campaign estimated the total prize value at $3,000.
“Hello adventure lovers! Get ready for a once in a lifetime opportunity! This sweepstakes offers one lucky winner and a guest the opportunity to spend an unforgettable afternoon sailing with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. ” reads the contest description on the campaign website.
“Imagine the wind in your hair, the sun kissing your face, and the rhythmic sound of waves below as we sail with you from Marina del Rey, California.”
One entry into this contest is free, but each additional submission costs $10.00 and the maximum number of entries is 300. The deadline to enter the contest is his Thursday, February 29th, and the winner will be announced on his March 15th. Afternoon sailing will take place on Saturday, May 11th.
Kennedy has cited images of former President Kennedy and his family in promoting his afternoon cruise with independent candidates. Mr. Kennedy often referred to his last name during his campaign, sometimes to the displeasure of his family, who in October called Mr. Kennedy’s independent candidacy “dangerous to our country.”
Kennedy’s third-party candidacy has caused some turmoil among Democrats and Republicans, with many predicting his campaign will lead to a rematch between President Biden and former President Trump in November’s presidential general election. I’m worried that it will ruin what we’re doing.
