The US will identify what he described as the country's “autism epidemic” by September, he said at a cabinet meeting Thursday, according to U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.).

Having vowed to “make America healthy again,” Kennedy (Maha) has been working tirelessly to research and speak with other health authorities about his connection to autism, in addition to “changing America's approach to public health, environmental sustainability and government accountability.”
“The rate of autism has disappeared. From the latest figures we think will be about one in 31, it's rising again from one in 10,000 people I was a child,” Kennedy said.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1 in 36 people are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). According to their figures in 2000, one in 150 young people was diagnosed with autism in that time frame.
Kennedy was born in 1954. This was an era when diagnostic criteria for autism were limited and formal tests were rare.
Although autism was still recognized, the term and its diagnostic criteria were not as well defined as today. DSM-I included explanations for what is understood as autistic behavior within a broader category, such as “schizophrenia response, childhood type” and “schizophrenia personality.” According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), formal testing for autism began with the publication of DSM-III in 1980, when DSM-III established autism as another diagnosis.
Diagnosis of autism has risen significantly, particularly since the early 1990s, with a noticeable increase in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Part of the reason for the increase in autism diagnosis is that, at least according to Dr. Alex Colebzon, clinical director of the Sieber Autism Treatment Centre at Ikaan School of Medicine in Mount Sinai, the press said, “It's a new iteration.”[s] The diagnostic manual will “steady” expand diagnostic criteria.
“We also diagnose autism at a young age for effective screening based on recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics,” says Colebzon. “Finally, there have been a significant change in laws and cultural attitudes that make educational accommodation and behavioral therapy more readily accessible to affected children, thereby promoting diagnostic patterns.”
Additionally, Autism, a nonprofit specializing in autism awareness and research, states:
Representatives of the Autism Self-Advocacy Network (ASAN) claim that “there is no autism epidemic,” citing past diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
“We have come a long way in understanding autism, and better understanding has resulted in higher diagnostic rates. This is not something that causes panic, and is not evidence of the environmental causes of autism,” the spokesman said.
However, many parents of children with autism argue that these claims and “theories” are “oversimplified” at best, and at worst they get “gaslights.”
Nevertheless, on Thursday, Kennedy officially notified the Trump administration and the American people that after years of prediction, the long-standing puzzle was about to be resolved.
“In your direction, you'll know by September. We've started a massive testing and research effort involving hundreds of scientists from around the world. By September, we'll be able to learn what caused the autism outbreak and eliminate those exposures,” Kennedy maintained.
A brief dialogue between President Donald Trump and President Kennedy followed.
President Trump: “That's a scary statistic, right? …I think you have a pretty good idea because there's something artificial that's doing this?”
HHS Secretary Kennedy: “You'll know by September.”
Trump said he was hoping to hear that after the results of September's surveys were released, he said that if they were concerned, Americans would say they would “stop taking something,” [or] Stop eating something, or maybe it's a shot? ”
President Trump: “Something is causing it…”
Elon Musk, a special civil servant (SGE) and close advisor to the president, openly admits that he has Asperger's syndrome. I have an autism spectrum disorder.
“It has been shown that a significant proportion of autistic individuals exhibit above average intelligence. In fact, some studies suggest that there may be a higher prevalence of autistic individuals falling into talented or high IQ ranges compared to the general population.” Vertex ABA. However, the website also states that “not everyone with autism has a high IQ score.”
Furthermore, despite the theory that there is a possible link between vaccines and autism, which has been firmly rebutted by mainstream media, the American Infectious Diseases Association (IDSA), and many health professionals and researchers, several reports released last month showed that the CDC would soon begin a potential correlation between the two.
“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is launching expanded research to understand the potential link between autism and its vaccines. NBC News It was reported in March this year.
Breaking News: RFK JR promises to find the cause of autism in a strong statement by September, claiming that RFK Jr. will turn his attention to the surge in autism rate (1 in 10,000 to 1 in 31) and will quickly find out exactly what's behind the epidemic.
