RFK Jr. Challenges Trump to Debate at Libertarian Convention

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. challenged former President Donald Trump to a debate at the Libertarian Convention, saying, “For you and me, it’s a debate where we can defend our record for wavering supporters.” “It’s the perfect neutral ground to do it.”

Many conservatives point out that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not a conservative or moderate alternative to President Trump, but rather a far-left candidate competing with President Biden over who is more left-leaning. But despite his radical leftist background, some are still trying to position him as a viable alternative to Trump.

President Trump is making history by attending the upcoming Libertarian Convention. RFK Jr. will also be there and believes it will be a great place for the two to discuss it.

In a social media post, RFK Jr. said he was grateful to President Trump for “calling attention to the fraudulent polling methods used against you by a biased, DNC-influenced media.” .

“We have this concern too, and we are happy to show you the deceptive methodologies used by DNC-affiliated polling agencies that pretend to be in the single digits. ”, he said, pointing to his own polls with Zogby that he believes are telling. RFK Jr. also claimed that he has “gathered many voters from his former supporters.”

“They are outraged that you have ballooned the deficit, closed businesses during the coronavirus pandemic, and filled your administration with swamp creatures,” he said, adding that he was formally invited to debate at the Libertarian Convention. I made an offer.

He continued:

Therefore, I would like to make a suggestion to you. We are both scheduled to speak at the Libertarian Convention on May 24th and she on the 25th. For you and me, having a debate where you can defend your record for wavering supporters is the perfect neutral ground.

You yourself said that you are not afraid to argue with me as long as my poll numbers are decent. that’s right. In fact, I’m the only presidential candidate in history who outvoted candidates from both major parties in a head-to-head race.

So let’s gather at the Libertarian Convention and show the American people that at least two of the major candidates are not afraid to debate each other. I asked the convention organizers, and they think we can use our time on the ground to bring the American people the debate they deserve.

The challenge comes as many conservatives warn that RFK Jr. is not the moderate he presents himself to be. Donald Trump Jr. emphasized this in part of his podcast. It was a trigger:

in a recent interview Breitbart News SaturdayLibertarian Party Chair Angela McArdle spoke about President Trump’s upcoming convention appearance and expressed the importance of using the opportunity to spread the message of freedom.

“It behooves us to take this wonderful opportunity to share these concerns with the man who very well may become the next President of the United States. That is what we are doing.” “We want to hear President Trump’s plan to bring about peace or at least some stability, or reduce U.S. involvement,” she said, adding:
