When Elon Musk bought Twitter, he discovered millions of documents showing that the White House and Twitter officials were colluding to censor Americans. These became known as Twitter files.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was one of the Americans specifically targeted in these documents.
“The government put pressure on companies to silence you, which by most legal standards would be a violation of the First Amendment,” Dave Rubin said. Masu.
Rather than ignore them, Musk then invited investigative journalists like Matt Taibbi to do whatever they wanted with the documents.

“When I asked him why he did that, he said, ‘You know, I grew up in South Africa.’ I moved here because I loved the freedom of this country. I moved here partly because of the First Amendment,” RFK explained.
“I’m a citizen of this country now. I have a lot of money. I could buy a house all over the world. I won’t. I want the country to be what it was meant to be,” RFK continued, remembering what Elon told him.
“It was a pretty extraordinary conversation,” he said, adding, “Elon is standing up for free speech at this time in this country, and I think that’s a great thing.”
