A super PAC affiliated with independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. dropped a surprise commercial during Sunday’s Super Bowl, drawing mixed reactions from viewers.
American Values 2024 ran a 30-second ad for $7 million. The clip is a throwback to an ad his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy, used during his 1960 presidential campaign.
The ad replaces JFK’s face with RFK Jr.’s face and urges viewers to “vote independence.”
Tony Lyons, co-founder of American Values 2024, said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital that “panicked D.C. power brokers are working overtime to keep Kennedy out of the vote. “Because I know Mr. Kennedy can and will end this culture of greed and corruption.”

The ad was released after the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Friday accused RFK Jr.’s presidential campaign of illegally collaborating with American Values 2024.
The DNC files a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) alleging that the Kennedy campaign received $15 million in illegal in-kind contributions from a super PAC to secure voting rights as an independent candidate in several states. did.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign is relying on an outside party, funded by Donald Trump’s biggest donor this season, to carry out key campaign efforts (gathering the signatures needed to appear on the ballot). A Kennedy campaign spokesperson told Fox that the allegations were “not an issue raised by a partisan political group that appears to be increasingly concerned about its own candidate and viability.”
Kennedy had originally planned to run against President Biden in the 2024 Democratic presidential primary, but the DNC announced that it would not hold a primary debate and would instead endorse the incumbent president.
