RFK Jr.’s sister says it’s ‘heart-wrenching’ to oppose her brother’s presidential bid

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s sister said she was heartbroken to have to oppose her brother’s presidential ambitions, but also felt a duty of honor to do so.

“I love Bobby,” Kerry Kennedy said new york times. “It’s heartbreaking to be in this position.”

At a recent campaign event in Philadelphia, Kelly joined other family members in expressing support for President Biden, arguing that the country cannot afford another term for Donald Trump. Both major tickets signal concerns that Kennedy’s insurrection campaign could be undermined.

“At the end of the day, why is he out there doing this?” Kelly told the Times about his brother’s independent presidential bid. “I’m participating for the same reason, because we both believe the risks are high.”

“Almost all of Joe and Rose Kennedy’s grandchildren support Joe Biden,” Secretary of State Kerry told an audience during a Biden campaign campaign in Philadelphia.

“That’s right. The Kennedy family supports Joe Biden for president,” she said, according to a Times report. “President Biden has been a champion of all the rights and freedoms that his father and uncles championed.”

At the time, RFK Jr. responded, “I’m glad they’re politically active. It’s a family tradition.” “We have different opinions, but we are united in our love for each other.”

Another member of the Kennedy family, Christopher G. Kennedy, told the Times that he “felt a special burden” on Mr. Kerry to oppose Mr. RFK Jr.’s candidacy.

“She has supported hundreds of human rights activists around the world,” Christopher said. “Her effectiveness will be diminished if the Kennedy name is associated with unconventional thinking, wild ideas and unsound judgment.”

Kennedy has been alienated from the media and the Democratic Party’s old establishment for his controversial stance on vaccines and support for conspiracy theories.

RFK Jr. has rejected accusations that he is anti-vaxxer, and his views on public health during the coronavirus pandemic have come under increasing scrutiny.

The candidate said that if the attorney general is found to have committed wrongdoing by Dr. Anthony Fauci in 2023, he will prosecute Dr. Anthony Fauci for his actions during the pandemic.

Christopher Kennedy told the New York Times that his brother’s presidential bid had been constantly criticized by the public.

“People come up to me in the grocery store and say, ‘Why are you letting this happen to my brother?’ If Bobby caused this to happen, I think we’re all to blame,” Christopher said.

“Like all true believers, I would say he is untouchable,” he told the outlet. “That shell hardening is definitely happening.”

RFK Jr.’s camp did not respond to a request for comment from FOX News Digital.
