Bill Belichick, the renowned 73-year-old NFL coach, has made headlines recently after an interview with CBS, which was notably interrupted by his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who is 24. This incident caught the attention of former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, who expressed his frustration about the situation.
During a podcast with his wife, Grete, Griffin described the interview as “absolutely scary” and discussed the dynamics of Belichick’s relationship. He mentioned, perhaps a bit emphatically, that while love is indeed love, Hudson’s involvement is starting to feel complicated, almost contradictory to what Belichick typically stands for.
In what seems to be a humorous yet pointed remark, Griffin noted, “A happy wife is essential to a happy life,” while acknowledging that Hudson isn’t even engaged to Belichick yet.
Interestingly, Hudson also paused the interview to dodge questions about their relationship’s origins, which led to several delays, stretching the conversation by around 30 minutes. Belichick later claimed he was taken aback by questions directed at his personal life. Hudson stated she was at work during the interview and accused CBS of producing selectively edited clips that misrepresented their conversation.
CBS responded, maintaining that the interview was intended to cover a wide array of topics with no limitations imposed on the dialogue.
