Second time's the charm.
Dr. Lenny Hochstein re-proposed to Katarina Mazepa four months after the couple broke off their first engagement.
“Sometimes in life you get a second chance and you find out what's really important,” said Hochstein, 58. Announced on Instagram Wednesday with two photos of his proposal at home.
“After everything we went through, I knew I could never let her go again.”
The Miami-based plastic surgeon said the couple's love was “worth fighting for” and “stronger than ever.”
He concluded with a toast, “To the future.” [they’ll] Let’s build together before tagging his new fiancée ❤️💍”
“Love has a way of getting back to where it belongs ❤️🏴☠️♾️,” Mazepa commented under the upload.
Renee told Page Six in a statement: “I'm so grateful for my second chance at love with the woman of my dreams. Love has a way of getting back where it belongs and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that Katarina will forever be my It means it belongs in your arms.”
He continued, “That's why last weekend I asked her to marry me at home and in front of her best friends. Then we spent the whole night in this house with her loved ones. We continued to celebrate and dance.”
For the intimate evening, Hochstein paired a white dress shirt with black slacks, while Mazepa, 29, wore a black minidress adorned with delicate chains.
The first photo in his post captured the moment he got down on one knee, and the second photo showed his lovers leaning in for a kiss.
There was speculation that the two had reconciled during Art Basel last weekend.
Three weeks earlier, he had finalized his divorce from “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein, who had consistently claimed he had an affair with an Austrian model.
He has always denied that Mazepa is his mistress.
Page Six exclusively revealed in September that Renee had broken up with her girlfriend just over a year after they first popped the question.
“I have decided to move on with my life,” he told Us at the time, stressing that he wished her “nothing but the best.”
The brunette beauty echoed that sentiment, saying she and Hochstein had “mutually decided to end it.” [their] “We got engaged last month,” he said, calling it “amicable.”
Renee's first proposal, in July 2023, was much more elaborate than the second, asking Mazepa to marry her in Ibiza.
“At the top of an ancient pirate cave overlooking the breathtaking sunset over Es Vedra, he asked me to take him away forever. 🏴☠️♾,” an Instagram announcement at the time read. with a caption.
Renee filed for divorce in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage with Lisa, 42, and the couple, who share son Logan, nine, and daughter Elle, five.
