The “Nature Boy” is set to be single again.
Legendary professional wrestler Ric Flair announced on social media on Monday that he is separating from his wife, Wendy Barlow, after 13 years of relationship and six years of marriage.
“Wendy and I had 13 wonderful years together. Like any couple, we've had our ups and downs. I feel it's important for everyone to know now that we have respectfully decided to separate.” Flair wrote:in his habitual style of writing every word in capital letters.
“I can't thank her enough for being there for me when I had a terrible health crisis in 2017. She has always been there for me and for that I am forever grateful. We are currently both working on different projects and my and her schedules make it difficult to make this project work. I wish her all the best with her projects and I know she is supportive of mine.”
Flair, now 75, was married four times before marrying Barlow in 2018.
If this story feels like deja vu, it's because Flair previously announced his separation from Barlow in 2022, but the two eventually reconciled.
Flair is famously known for being a 16-time world champion in the NWA, WCW and WWE, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.
Barlow and Flair met while working together in WCW in 1993.
Last year, he spoke to The Washington Post about his Woooooo Energy drink.
“This drug lasts all day, I swear to God it's true,” Flair said at the time. “I took two pills, one at 3pm and one at 7pm, and it was 5am and I was still staring at the ceiling. This drug just makes you think!”
