Richard Lewis, Shelley Berman and other former ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ cast members who passed

The final episode of the long-running acclaimed American sitcom “Curb Your Enthusiasm” airs Sunday night on HBO.

As the show draws to a close after 12 seasons, fans around the world are looking back at its least positive episodes, memorable lines, former guest stars, and more.

On Friday, Larry David gathered with fans to soak up the history of “Curve” ahead of the show’s finale. Susie Essman, who plays the antagonistic Susie Greene, made a surprise appearance at an event hosted by Tribeca and HBO.

Essman has brought Green’s contemptible character to life since the show’s inception, and is even willing to return if Larry returns from his permanent exit. However, some former cast members won’t have the chance to do the same if it’s a reboot.

These are some of the former cast members and guest stars of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” who have passed away since the show’s first broadcast in 2000.

“Richard and I were born three days apart and in the same hospital, and for most of my life he has been like a brother to me,” Larry David wrote on his Instagram Curve page. I had it,” Lewis signed the caption. “He was the funniest, sweetest guy. But today he made me sob, and I will never forgive him.”

Lewis played a version of himself and appeared in the first episode in 2000, titled “The Pants Tent”. In the final season of “Curve,” they filmed an episode in which Lewis tells Larry that he was included in his will before he dies. In true Larry fashion, he freaks out and argues with Lewis about the obvious manipulation behind the decision.
