Former North Dakota conservative state lawmaker Dr. Rick Becker has begun running for the state's only U.S. House seat against Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-North Dakota), Breitbart News says. exclusively reported on Monday.
Becker is a surgeon, businessman and former conservative state legislator. He was elected to the North Dakota State Assembly in 2012 and re-elected in 2014 and 2018, gaining a reputation as an effective voice for conservatives in the state Legislature.
“Washington, D.C. is full of corrupt politicians who are more interested in funding foreign conflicts than addressing the problems we face at home,” Becker exclusively told Breitbart News. He spoke in detail. “The only solution is to elect conservative warriors with a proven track record of standing up to the system and fighting for our people.”
Becker believes that far-left policies of open borders and massive spending pushed by the establishment are crushing the middle class.
“The Biden administration is decimating North Dakota's middle class with skyrocketing inflation,” he said. “Declaring a border trespass and failing to take immediate action alone is grounds for impeachment, but current House Republicans refuse to act.”
“The people of North Dakota deserve better. If elected representative to the U.S. House of Representatives, I will end Washington's reckless spending, end all funding to the radical WOKE ideology, and put America First again. “I'm going to fight for it,” he added.
Mr. Becker launched his campaign against Mr. Armstrong in response to his vote against censuring and fining Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) over the 2016 Russia hoax scandal.Armstrong claimed The censure vote was “unconstitutional.”
