Ricky Saints aims to enter a prestigious group at NXT Stand & Deliver

Ricky Saints Eyes NXT Championship Title

Ricky Saints made a memorable entrance into WWE in February 2025, captivating the NXT audience with his proclamation that the brand was in need of a “future superstar.”

Right from the start, Saints shook things up in NXT. Just about three months after his entrance, he clinched the NXT North American Championship. He defended this title against Ethan Page during NXT’s premier event of the year, the first Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event.

Fast forward nearly a year, and in a recent discussion with Fox News Digital, Saints expressed his ambition to continue his winning streak in NXT. With aspirations of becoming a two-time NXT Champion at this year’s Stand & Deliver event, he aims to join the ranks of iconic former champions like Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Finn Balor.

“I’m really focused on becoming a two-time NXT Champion,” he conveyed. “There aren’t many who’ve achieved that, and I want my name to be among them. I’ve accomplished so much in one year; I want to add another title to my resume. Imagine people saying, ‘Oh, Ricky’s been around for a year, and he’s a two-time NXT champion, a former North American champion.’ That is what I’m chasing.”

Alongside his drive for success, Saints mentioned his evolving relationship with Ethan Page. While they’ve shared the ring—sometimes as allies, sometimes as rivals—their recent dynamics haven’t been in sync.

“He’s not a bad guy, but things haven’t gone as we planned,” Saints told Fox News Digital. “So, I need to look out for myself to reclaim the NXT Championship. If he can’t keep up, that’s on him.”

This Saturday, Saints and Page will battle in a crucial four-way match against Tony D’Angelo for Joe Hendry’s NXT Championship, a fight expected to be a highlight of the event.

NXT’s Stand & Deliver is scheduled for St. Louis, Missouri, starting at 7pm ET, and fans can catch it on YouTube.
