Global singing sensation Rihanna has been confirmed as the headlining performer for Super Bowl LVII.
Rihanna confirmed the big news by sharing a simple photograph to her Instagram account Sunday. The star posted an image of a football that was held up in her hand. Her tattoos were exposed, and she opted to go without a caption, as the picture spoke a thousand words. Super Bowl LVII is scheduled to take place in Glendale, Arizona, Feb. 12, 2023.
Roc Nation joined the enthusiastic announcement that Rihanna had been clinched for this very special halftime show performance by releasing a tweet that contained the same image originally posted by the star.
Roc Nation – which has helped produce the halftime show over the past few years – and the National Football League also tweeted the same image, writing, “Let’s GO” with the hashtag “SBLVII.” (RELATED: Super Bowl Halftime Performer Dr. Dre Allegedly Abused A Woman, Eminem And Him Both Sang About Killing People)

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” he said in a statement, according to Page Six.
The 2022 Super Bowl halftime show featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent.
