Riley Gaines Calls on Caitlin Clark, Simone Biles to Oppose Trans Athletes in Women’s Sports

Riley Gaines was the face of the movement to protect women's sports. Now she is asking her to join the two most prominent names in women's sports.

“Of course, the people I think are important to this movement are people like Caitlyn Clark, Simone Biles. I said In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital.

“To get them to emphasize them [trans athletes] Do not belong to women's sports. The problem is resolved at all levels, like yesterday, if you were willing to do this. ”

While acknowledging that getting support from Clark and Biles is “undoubtedly stretching,” the former NCAA champion swimmer also said the wavering of American public opinion. Against Including trans athletes, the proposition is less stretchy than before.

Former US gymnast and Levi executive Jennifer Say founded the brand XX-XY Athletics, a company dedicated to including transgender people in women's sports, calling for notable female athletes to join the fight.

“We are constantly encouraging more female athletes to join the fight, and we want to work with people who are standing up for the integrity of women's sports. We are constantly talking to people who have stood up or are considering doing so,” Sei said. “I believe this will be over if athletes defend a lot of women's sports.”

Despite the success of XX-XY Athletics, Sey says the activist brand still lacks a well-known and active ambassador.

“We don't have the highest level athletes who are currently competing, and I think that's an example of how far we have to go. It's normal for them to stand up and say, 'I'm fighting for the protection of women's sports,' but even so, they don't think they're afraid that a lot of them will be called bad names. ”

Social change gives reasons for optimism that someone of Clark or Biles' height might appear soon to take charge of a brand like XX-XY. According to New York Times/Ipsos sUrvey, held earlier this year, said 79% of the 2,128 respondents should not be allowed to participate in women's sports.
