Ringo Starr's band announced Tuesday that they had canceled the final two shows of their North American tour because Ringo had caught a cold.
“Today, Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band announced that due to illness they have unfortunately had to cancel their final two upcoming shows, including tonight's show at TD Pavilion at The Man in Philadelphia and tomorrow's show at Radio City Music Hall in New York,” read a statement posted to his Instagram.
“Ringo has been suffering from a cold and after consulting his doctor has been advised to cancel the remaining two shows and take some time to rest.”
The shows were scheduled to take place Tuesday at The Man and Wednesday at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The company said ticket holders will either be automatically refunded or should contact their point of purchase to receive a refund.
“As always, Ringo and his All Stars send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon,” the statement added.
The post was met with a flood of congratulations from fans.
“Sad we won't see him tonight but most importantly I hope he's healthy and happy! Get well soon Ringo!” one person wrote.
“I'm feeling great, I'm doing great,” Starr told Fox News Digital around the time of his birthday in July.

“I exercise almost every day,” the 84-year-old added.
Since John Lennon was assassinated in 1980 and George Harrison died of cancer in 2001, Starr and 82-year-old Paul McCartney are the only two Beatles still living.

Starr and his All Starr Band kicked off their fall tour in Omaha, Nebraska, on Sept. 7. The 12-date tour was scheduled to conclude in New York on Wednesday.

“Thank you for a great night at Mohegan Sun Arena,” the band posted on Instagram along with a photo from their Connecticut show. “A great night with the crowd and band together. Feeling peace and love.”
Last Wednesday, Ringo posted a video showing the crowd at a recent show.
