Ro Khanna supports cutting defense spending in Trump's DOGE

Congressman Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) says President-elect Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) commission could receive “massive bipartisan cooperation” in the new year, at least when it comes to defense spending cuts. He said that there is a sex.

“When it comes to defense, I think it's going to take a lot of bipartisan cooperation to strengthen our defense and bring it down at a value,” Khanna said on ABC Sunday morning.

President Trump has nominated billionaire Elon Musk, a close campaign ally, and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to lead DOGE.

Musk has been highly critical of defense spending.
