Robbie Williams Tells ‘WWHL’ He Once “Berated” The Wheelchair Section At His Show By Mistake: “I Got The Whole Audience To Point At Them And Boo”

Robbie Williams has had some embarrassing moments during performances, but none as bad as when he “reprimanded” the wheelchair section at one of his shows.

The singer stopped by Bravo Clubhouse for Monday night's (January 13) episode. Watch what happens live to promote his new biopic better man, “I can't believe it,” host Andy Cohen said with glee.

At one point during the episode, a virtual fan asked Williams if it was true that he had ever pooped in his pants on stage.

“Yes, I pooped on stage once due to food poisoning,” Williams admitted, adding, “And I did it again because it was fun at another show.”

But that wasn't the most embarrassing thing to happen on his show. After some persuasion from Cohen and actress Julia Stiles, Williams finally told his gruesome story.

“Basically, I was confusing the wheelchair section of the show with people who weren't enjoying themselves standing up,” he admitted. “And I reprimanded them and had the whole audience pointing at them and booing them and stomping their feet and saying, 'Come out, come out, come out!'

When Williams looked to the side of the stage, his manager motioned for him to stop and informed him that he was addressing the wheelchair section of the audience.

“I was like, 'Oh, I get it,'” Williams recalled of the moment she realized who she was talking to. “And the way out of that is through ballads. Definitely ballads. Definitely by doing 'Angels.'”

Luckily for the pop star, this situation happened before cell phones had cameras. Otherwise, his singing career would probably have ended. tanked That's faster than his new movie's box office revenue!
