Shooting Incident at New Hampshire Country Club
Relatives of the victims from the recent shooting at a country club in New Hampshire shared that they heroically shielded loved ones from the attacker, identified as 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau.
Robert Juterre, 59, was dining with family at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua when Nadeau entered with a firearm. “As soon as Nadeau opened the door, Rob rushed to protect his family,” Evie O’Rourke, Juterre’s mother, told reporters.
During the incident, Nadeau shot two individuals fatally while others were injured in the ensuing chaos. There were over 100 people present in the country club at that time.
Witnesses reported that the motivation behind the attack remains unclear, although bystanders noted Nadeau shouted “Free Palestine!” at some points. It was not confirmed if this indicated a specific target.
Juterre’s mother expressed disbelief over her son’s fate, remarking, “I just can’t accept this. They were having a nice meal, and then this happened.” She also mentioned the emotional difficulty of losing him just as his daughter is set to marry in six weeks.
“I don’t have any more details other than that he was arrested. I’m just going to miss him, he was a wonderful person,” she reflected.
Nadeau was apprehended at the scene. Witnesses described his demeanor as focused on Juterre, suggesting he had a particular target in mind. “It seemed deliberate. It was terrifying,” a witness recounted, adding that Nadeau shouted pro-Palestinian slogans during the attack.
Following the incident, a Toyota RAV4, which might have belonged to Nadeau, was towed near the country club.
As of now, no official motive has been released by authorities, but Nadeau is facing charges of second-degree murder and is expected to appear in court soon.
