Robert Griffin III Calls Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese Pawns in a ‘Race War’

Former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III took to his X account to accuse WNBA stars Kaitlyn Clark and Angel Reese of using them as pawns in a “race war.”

In a post Sunday, Griffin argued that both Clark and Chicago player Angel Reese are being used as stand-ins in this race war.

“Kaitlyn Clark and Angel Reese are being used in a race war that is not fair to either athlete or the game of basketball,” he wrote.

Griffin did not say who he thought was to blame for using Clark and Reese as pawns in a race war, but the liberal view on the issue is that only white people can be racist.

Still, many pointed out that if there is a “race war,” there is just pressure on sports media to focus heavily on that issue simply to get more clicks and readership.

Others disagreed, saying Reese wasn’t being “taken advantage” of anyone, but was simply a victim of her own sensitive and vulnerable ego.
