The Giants are in turmoil, according to former No. 2 overall pick and former rival quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Big Blue returned to the first round and drafted Oremis quarterback Jackson Dart with the 25th pick, but Griffin sees the move as a potential train wreck.
Griffin reveals that while he loves the “game” of dirt, he dislikes the “situation” that unfolded for the pick.
“The Giants in New York don’t know what they’re doing with QB,” Griffin wrote in X’s post.
“After signing Jamaice Winston and Russell Wilson and getting him well, I drafted a rookie QB behind them to get a minimum rep for a year in redshirts. The Lord has mercy.”
The Giants signed 36-year-old Wilson and have come this offseason to stabilize their team at the centre, but Griffin appears to think that drafting the dirt is actually shaky in position once again, as coach Brian Daball and general manager Joe Shane appear to be fighting for their work after a disastrous back-to-back season.
Big Blue also added fellow veterans to Winston.
When fans asked why Griffin pans dirt learning ideas under Wilson, the tactical team has used it for a variety of successes, but he referenced the perceived hot sheets of coaches and general managers.
“This coaching staff and front office may not have more than eight games this year,” replied Griffin, who is taking part in Fox Sports as a college football analyst after being let go of ESPN.
“They have to win now, so they brought Russell and Jamie. Jackson doesn’t get the reps they need to sit and learn in this situation.”
One user responded to Griffin by stating that DART will be the Giants’ starting quarterback by week 10, but Griffin doesn’t think it will help the situation.
“Then all the staff and GM were fired, and it’s not a big situation for the young QB,” he wrote.

Shane chose to back back to the first round and land dirt on the back end of round 1, coughing both this year’s second and third round picks and next year’s draft.
Interestingly, the Giants chose to pass Colorado quarterback Chedur Sanders last week.
Daboll confirmed that Wilson is the team’s starting quarterback at this point, even after spending all that draft capital on Dart on land.
Dart began his career at USC as a freshman, but moved to Ole Miss when star Caleb Williams followed the Trojan horse after Lincoln Riley, threw 29 touchdowns and just six interceptions during a 495-yard run last season.
The Giants are primarily a disaster that is the majority of the last decade, boasting one victory record since 2017.
They finished 3-14 last season and Shane and Dabor’s big blue Braintrust could be running out of time to turn this around.
