Robert Jr.'s ex-wife reveals shocking abuse in bodycam footage.

Alexiana Smokov, the ex-wife of Robert Cosby Jr., alleges that he physically assaulted her in newly released body camera footage from an incident prior to his death.

The footage shows Smokov contacting the Salt Lake City Police on November 23, 2025, to report a domestic violence incident she claims took place in May 2024. This was revealed by TMZ.

In the video, she tells officers, “On May 18th, my estranged husband hit me. I think it was because he was on drugs and I flushed them.”

Smokov also presented her cellphone to the officers, showing them clips of the alleged incident where she claimed Robert Jr. “threw things” at her and “chased” her.

“He locked me inside the house,” she explained. “I was hit so hard that blood came out of my ear.”

She mentioned that she didn’t seek medical help afterward because Robert Jr. and his mother, Mary Cosby, known from “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” “didn’t forgive” her for wanting to leave.

“I’m feeling a little stressed,” she told the officer, adding, “I have to see him again in court. He broke into my house. He broke my front window.”

Despite having a confidentiality order, Smokov contended that Robert Jr. continually disregarded it.

It’s important to note that Robert Jr. had a long history of drug addiction before his death. By the time Smokov spoke to the police in November 2025, he was in jail on unrelated assault charges.

When questioned about the May 2024 incident involving Robert Jr., Mary Cosby stated to police on January 9, 2026, that she was not present.

Mary reportedly acknowledged that while she didn’t often witness conflicts between her son and Smokov, she did admit they had argued. She denied any knowledge of violence but also said she was unaware of any physical altercation between them.

Robert Jr. and Smokov had secretly married in August 2022 in a Utah courthouse.

Smokov filed for divorce in November 2025 after three years of marriage, finalizing it in January.

In February, Robert Jr. faced two counts of domestic violence related to the May 2024 incident. However, those charges were dismissed after his tragic death on February 23 at the age of 23, which followed an overdose call.
