The 45 -year -old coach of Jets's owner, Woody Johnson, started two wins and three losses, was a head coach of Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, and Las Vegas Raiders.

However, when these three frames were filled, Saleha returned to 49ers and decided to rebuild the dominance he had at the end of the first stint in the team.

Defense coordinator's job is a rotating door for 49ers, and Saleha is the fourth season for Kyle Shanahan's clubs in four seasons.

Demececo Rians, who was succeeded in Saleha in 2021, resigned to be a Houston head coach after the 2022 season, and Steve Wilks and Nick Solensen were replaced in one season in the past two years.

Saleha was only 20 wins and 36 losses as a Jets head coach, but Jets's defense was always strong during his tenure.

In the last two seasons spent by Saleha in New York, Jets was ranked first in a pass -earded yard (178.9) and permission yard (4.7) per play.

During this period, they were ranked second in the total defense (301.7 yards per game), but this season, the defensive collapsed after Jeff Wolblich, Saleha's defensive coordinator, was promoted to a head coach. 。

Regarding Jets, he hired Aaron Glenn as a head coach on Wednesday and began on the path of the defense coordinator again.

Glen, a cornerback played in Jets eight seasons, succeeded in four seasons as the Defense of Lions.
