An intercepted shipment from Colombia to Wisconsin led authorities to a drug bust and the discovery of fake immigration documents.
On Friday, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Homeland Security investigative team conducted a joint operation to execute a search warrant at a Kenosha residence, according to a press release.
A week ago, the sheriff’s office was contacted by HSI about a package containing a set of Canarium rollerblades stolen while en route from Bogotá to Kenosha.
“With the assistance of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the rollerblade wheels were identified as suspicious,” the sheriff’s office Facebook post said. “It was later determined that the wheels had been injected with a gelatinous substance, which tested positive for the presence of cocaine.”

According to the sheriff’s office, the following items were found during the search of the home: 1048 grams of cocaine. If sold by the kilogram, it would have a street value of $35,000, according to the sheriff’s office. $3,475 in cash.
