The left has been completely overwhelmed by the pace of the new Trump administration. While that is a positive, nothing compares to the wins President Trump has given the American people, including exposing a major conspiracy the left has demonized conservative media for covering.
In Nov. 2023, the Daily Wire uncovered a plot from Jan. 2021 by Biden’s FBI to remove agents investigating a child pornographer in Virginia to focus on prosecuting Jan. 6 protestors. The Washington Bureau tracked Brogan Welsh through the IP address he used to send their undercover agent explicit messages expressing his intent to rape a young boy. Welsh apparently sent a video of “a prepubescent minor male being anally penetrated by an adult male’s erect penis,” according to the Daily Wire.

Welsh was eventually caught when agents from the FBI’s Alaska bureau found evidence he was potentially sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy in the area. (Sign up for Mary Rooke’s weekly newsletter here!)
“On October 24, 2023, after coming across troubling chats from Welsh on a phone they seized from a different alleged pervert, Alaska FBI agents went into his house and “located items including sex toys that are very small in size and apparently consistent with the body size of an approximate 10-year-old boy,” as well as children’s underwear,” the outlet reported.

The Washington Field office never admitted how many agents were diverted from their criminal investigation to track down Jan. 6 protestors. However, now that the Trump administration has taken back control of the FBI, we’ve learned there were thousands of agents devoted to Capitol riot cases.

On Sunday, Trump sent FBI employees a questionnaire to determine their role in investigations or prosecutions related to Jan. 6. Of the 38,000 FBI employees, agency officials admitted to Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove that 5,000 were working on Jan. 6 cases. Trump’s nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, has repeatedly promised to purge the agency of personnel who have worked against the mission to keep America safe. Democrats are working hard to delay his inevitable confirmation by forcing a procedural move to table the vote to send his confirmation out of the Judiciary Committee and onto the Senate floor.
It’s certainly a confusing obstruction, considering how many Americans distrust the FBI and other government institutions and are wildly supportive of the Trump administration bringing these out-of-control agencies to heel. Americans deserve to know why the FBI needed 5,000 employees working on the Capitol riot and what crimes went without investigations in order to hunt their fellow citizens.
In 2023, @dailywirenews reported the FBI had halted an investigation of a pedophile in order to put those agents on the J6 case. That pedophile went on to allegedly sexually abuse a 10-year-old boy.

How many child rapists went without prosecution so the FBI could send armed agents to terrorize American grandmothers in their homes? How many criminals came across the southern border? How many of the cyber attacks we experienced during the Biden administration could have been prevented had the FBI focused on protecting our country?
For decades, the federal government has operated as if it wasn’t accountable to the American people. The Trump administration has been working diligently to clean out the rot. We saw that with its work shutting down foreign aid payments made through the USAID and now by demanding accountability from the FBI. If Trump keeps up this pace, we might actually get our country back.
