The BMW PGA Championship has reached the halfway point and the DP World Tour is taking to Wentworth Golf Club.
Among those still in contention for the win is Rory McIlroy, who shot a 4-under 68 to finish at 9 under par. McIlroy is four strokes behind leader Matthew Baldwin at 13 under par.
Friday wasn't a particularly eventful day for the Northern Irishman, but there was nothing to get excited about either, as he recorded two birdies and a bogey early on before finishing with three birdies to finish in 34.
Baldwin followed up a 65 with a 66 for a six-under par finish. He looked unstoppable, scoring five birdies in the first nine holes to finish in 30. A bogey on the par-four 11th hole slowed his momentum, but he reeled off two more birdies on the 15th and 17th holes to maintain his lead.
He's two strokes behind Nicklas Norgaard, who is at 11 under after shooting a 5-under 67. Antoine Rosner had the lowest score of the day with a 7-under 65 and is three strokes behind the leader at 10 under.
