Rosie O'Donnell has been sparring with President Trump since 2006, and now Trump critics have confirmed that she has fled the country frequently after she returned to her oval office.
The comedian said she lives in Ireland and is in the process of applying for Irish citizenship.
“It was so great, I have to say,” the 62-year-old said in a video for Tiktok. “And the people were so loving, so kind and so welcoming, and I'm very grateful.”
O'Donnell said she left on January 15th, five days before President Trump took office.

“I was someone I didn't expect to move to another country, and that's what I decided was the best for myself and my 12-year-old,” she explained.
O'Donnell is politically opposed to Trump. The two have also been involved in feuds since 2006 after criticising him for his “view” about his decision to be generous with Miss USA winners accused of drug use and other bad behaviour.
Trump responded to criticism by calling O'Donnell a “real loser.”
At the time, he said of Miss America's Tara Connor, “I believe in a second chance. Tara is a good guy. Tara worked so hard. Tara will be given a second chance.”

O'Donnell bolstered Trump's critique during his first presidential run and victory, jokingly telling Seth Myers in 2017 that “about 90% of my working hours tweet hatred for this administration.”

“I'm trying to find a home here in this beautiful country. When it's safe for all citizens to have equal rights in America, that's when we consider coming back.”
Trump also raised O'Donnell in last year's election, telling the crowd that the “scenery” was “very bad” at Al Smith's dinner in October, telling the showrunners “we need to bring Rosie O'Donnell back.”
“Now,” the star continued to get engaged during the election and frequently posted videos to Tiktok. Includes particularly fiery things for Thanksgiving when she warns people.

Aside from her political reasons for leaving the US, O'Donnell says that she and her daughter are “happy” in Ireland and enjoy exploring the country.
“I miss the other kids,” she added five grown children. “I miss friends. I miss a lot about living at home. And I'm trying to find a home in this beautiful country. And when it's safe for all citizens to have equal rights in America, that's when we consider coming back.”
The “Their own league” star added, “It's “heartbreaking” to see things that are political and difficult personally, as we know.
