A clearly disappointed Rosie O'Donnell is calling for the abolition of the electoral college in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump's landslide victory over Kamala Harris. It does not mention the fact that it won both votes.
Rosie O'Donnell, a longtime rival with Trump for years, if not decades, posted a TikTok video in response to Trump's victory. The former talk show host, who was suffering from what appeared to be the flu, was in a somber mood, but managed to keep his composure until midway through the video when he called the Electoral College “racist.”
“So why not get rid of the Electoral College? Is there anyone? Anyone? I'm not sure anymore,” she said. “This is a popular vote and that's what we have to do. Whoever gets the most votes wins. One person, one vote. There's no racist math in the equation. No.”
As reported by Breitbart News, Mr. Trump received 50.9% of the popular vote, while Ms. Harris received 47.6%.
Trump's election victory was a landslide. The current electoral count is 295, but Nevada and Arizona have not yet been counted, and both are expected to have 312. Kamala Harris won 226 people.
Rosie O'Donnell recently helped spread fake news about President Trump's first assassination attempt.
“I don't know what happened that day,” O'Donnell said in a TikTok video in September. “But I don't think it was a bullet that he shot. I don't think so. I think it was a fragment of something, but I don't know. I don't see any scars, but there's blood all over my body. ”
