Rove: Trump has 'chewed up valuable time talking about inconsequential things'

Republican strategist Karl Rove says former President Trump wasted his time during the campaign by focusing on “unimportant” issues and will now lead a “more disciplined” campaign for Republican candidates. He said he encouraged them to do so.

In an interview on Fox News' “Kabuto Live” on Saturday, host Neil Kabuto asked why President Trump is “like he's ready to steal the next election by saying the Democrats are cheating.” “They spend an unusual amount of time thinking about what they can see,” and questioned whether they were “spending even more time on elections.” He clearly lost in the debate. ”

“Yes, Neil, I'm surprised you left out one of the key issues in this campaign, which is that Fluffy and Fido are being eaten in Springfield, Ohio. You spend an enormous amount of time on problems,” Rov replied. President Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), are making increasingly unsubstantiated claims that immigrants eat pets.

robe, highlighted in the interview Mediaite outlined three important resources that campaigns have at their disposal: money, challenges, and time, noting that time is the only thing that cannot be replenished.

“You can't buy more time by wasting time. You can always raise more money, you can always raise additional issues, but you can't buy more time,” says Rob. he said.

“And he wasted valuable time talking about things that didn't matter,” the strategist continued, referring to President Trump.

Rove pointed to two recent Fox News polls that surveyed respondents about which candidates they trust more to handle a variety of issues. Rove noted that while Trump still leads on immigration and the economy, his lead over Vice President Harris is narrowing with each poll.

“So if you don't continue to focus on the big issues and put forward a positive agenda that people can work on, you're going to reduce the leads that you might get because of your actions.” 4 years ago I did it,” Rove said. “And that’s exactly what’s happening.”

“There's 39 days left. If he doesn't be more disciplined, there's a good chance he'll lose this fight,” Loeb continued.

Hill called on the Trump campaign to respond.
