Roy Re-Introduces Bill to Permanently Ban DOD Diversity Chief

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) will reintroduce the bill on Thursday, permanently eliminating the Pentagon's top diversity position, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

The Restoration Forces Focus Act will forever eliminate the Chief Executive and Senior Advisors of Diversity and Inclusion positions, established by the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act in the wake of the George Floyd protests.

President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegses ordered diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) to be banned from the military, but Roy's bill codifies it into law, under the new administration. So we couldn't make a comeback in the future.

Roy said in a statement to Breitbart News:

For too long, radical progressive Democrats under the Biden administration have been allowed to turn our troops into social experiments. We are grateful that President Trump and Secretary Hegses took decisive action to restore the Pentagon's focus and drive away the radical Day agenda.

But it is essential that Congressional Republicans take action to make these changes permanent and that future administrations do not uniform our men and women with this divisive ideology.
